The charges stem from the May 11 shooting that injured three people at a hair salon located at 2216 Royal Lane. On May 17, 2022, Dallas Police arrested Jeremy Smith, 36, and charged him with three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. The bond for these charges will be set by a magistrate. These charges stem from the four other people inside the salon that were not injured. The Dallas Police Department has charged Jeremy Smith with four additional counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, for a total of seven charges.
